Improving child health and nutrition in Apiza, Peru

COA_HuanucoThe project’s objective is to reduce the mortality of the population in Apiza, Perú, through the reduction of malnutrition of children’s collective, expectant and nursing mothers by increasing information about healthy habits related to nutrition and hygiene, and reconstruction of Apiza cabinet, based on the continuity of the implementation of micro-actions carried out in 2008 and knowing the reality on the ground.

This is, reconstruction and provision of medicines to Alfonso Ugarte cabinet, already in the communal lands of Apiza. This space is now spent on injections, dressings and planning. The project has been forwarded to the convening of the 2010 Development Cooperation Council of Official Associations of Pharmacists, with a co-financing of 90%.
