Graff Me

The proposed project is a visual proposal in which several urban artists and graffti writers are invited to participate in cooperation activities between Europe and Mexico, to redefine the role played by urban art, especially graffiti, in the cultural development of each participating region. It will also create opportunities for dialogue among cultural workers and operators to discuss about the consideration of graffiti as a street art and its presence in public places as a tool of communication and cultural expression.

For almost two years, Mexico and the EU will organize regular exchanges on cultural diversity and urban art, with the aim of highlight the importance of culture for social cohesion and its potential for improving social conditions. The project has been submitted to strand 1.3.5 Cooperation in Third Countries, of Culture Programme 2007-2013.
